She is trained in Carnatic & Hindustani classical singing (Indian classical singing forms) and also has undergone training in western vocals. A versatile singer who can sing in about 13 languages and counting.
She has worked for many films in multiple language but her debut as a playback singer was in the film "Motichoor chaknachoor" -Nawazuddin Siddiqui & Athya Shetty starer film.
Later she worked in movies and projects like - Super30, KBC, Gujjubhai the great, Dhurala, Antim. Apart from being a singer she also plays the Indian instrument VEENA which is a 7 stringed ancient Indian instrument which is believed to be played by the goddess Saraswati and lord shiva according to the hindu mythology.
